WarDB Update: 3D Item Previews!

Today we published the latest feature for WarDB: 3D Item Previews. In phase 1 of its implementation, many “held” items (primarily weapons or off-hand items) can now be previewed on the website in 3D.
You can find the 3D Previews in two locations:
- On the search results page under each item that has one available, you will see a “3D Preview” link. Clicking on this link will pop up a window in the middle of your browser. A couple seconds later you will see the item model rendered in 3D.
- On the item details page will be a “3D Preview” button within the “Summary” box to the right of the page. Clicking this button will pop up a window in the middle of your browser. A couple seconds later you will see the item model rendered in 3D.
Not all items currently have 3D previews, but we are working to ensure we have a comprehensive database of models for you to peruse. Also please remember that this is only phase 1; not only will the preview window itself improve over the coming weeks, but we also plan to expand this functionality beyond just “held” items.
