My Age of Conan Gameplay

Age of Conan was just released. Servers went public on May 20th, 2008. So… I decided to make a video, just so people could see how the game looks. It’s strictly PvE in the video, so don’t expect to see any PvP.

There are PvP servers and there is PvP in PvE servers. There’s also RP servers for AoC, if you’re interested in that type of game play.

I’m running the game in full graphics. I get no lag or anything; However, you’ll notice some parts that lag, but that’s due to running FRAPs. I hate configuring FRAPs to run properly with a game, so I didn’t bother trying to make it run without lagging me sometimes.

Anyways, Age of Conan, in my opinion, is FAR better than WoW/EQ2/EQ1 and a bunch of other MMO’s I’ve ever played; I’m still waiting for WarHammer Online to come out in October, so I could test that and see how well that goes.

None-the-less, my character’s name is “Provoke” on the server “Set”. Stygian Assassin level 19 (In the video, I’m level 16 or 17, since the video was made a while ago, just didn’t have time to upload it.

Anyways, I basically show how graphics look, gameplay, quests, PvE, Transitions to another “map”, etc. I will be making a PvP video eventually, but PvP right now, along with Character Builds, and the like are still up in the air. The skills tree is large, feat tree is large, it’s harder to make builds for AoC, in my opinion.

The game mechanics are also different compared to other MMO’s, so it may take some time for me to release a PvP video.

All I have to say is, Age of Conan is a very well done game. If you’re looking for something new, play it. If you’re looking for something different, play it. If you want to play an MMO with gorgeous graphics, play it.

You won’t be let down with just experiencing the game.
