Warhammer Online Offering Tiered Recruitment Rewards

Getting your friend hooked on a massively multiplayer game is only a little better than getting them hooked on cocaine, but you usually get some pretty cool stuff for your trouble. And now, it looks like Warhammer Online is upping the ante in the ongoing battle for subscriptions.
According to Vertical Wire (via Joystiq), Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is rolling out a new tiered rewards system for those who manage to bring in their friends. In addition to the usual free time bonuses, bringing in two friends will get you an “exclusive in-game pet.” Bring in four, and you get a “Rod of Service” or “Collar of Servitude” that boosts the experience and renown you gain by 5 percent.
Shouldn’t be too hard to drag in a friend or two. Warhammer Online just kicked off its “live expansion,” which is no doubt why Mythic is offering this promotion in the first place. But even without the live expansion, it’s always a good time to profit from someone’s new, crippling habit. What are friends for?
