Overview

Lineage II is a fantasy MMO game for the PC. In this role playing game, you get to play in a prequel-type MMO game, set in more than 500 years in the past. The MMO game lets its players play in a medieval style virtual world by creating their own characters. Lineage II includes a wide range of characters so that you are left with enough choices to select your own character. There are five different fantasy races available for you – humans, orcs, elves, dak elves and dwarves. The MMO game also features a large variety of classes. With the help of these races and

classes, players can customize their characters according to their own choices. Players can collect their experience points by taking on the non-player character monsters. With each point, the player can increase the character’s levels and upgrade his skills as well.

Custle Controls

As Lineage II is full of action being centered on player conflict, it is important for beginners to learn the control tactics of the game. The design of the MMO game features a karma system. It means if you kill other players when they are not fighting back, then you will have to face negative consequences. Too much of negative karma will instantly make you an easy target. This will give more leverage to other players. Moreover, other players can easily finish you off. When you face more deaths during the game, it results in experience loss, which can cost you much at higher levels of Lineage II. Besides, your negative karma will make you lose some of the precious items. Therefore, control in player conflict is really important for the players.

Lineage II is all about siege warefare. When you are the lord of a castle, you can control local shopkeepers and castle defenses. The longer you hold the castle, the better for you to generate power. You can forge alliances and create sub clans to further secure your holdings. Lineage II gives you a wide range of opportunities to venture a number of quests. There is a castle control map that helps you through the quests by controlling seven castles. The map shows the ways to communicate between the castles. It helps the online players to defend their castles and villages effectively.

Character Customization and Other Tips

With regard to character customization, I find gladiators the best character to play Lineage II with more ease and comfort. Most players find the movement controls of the MMO with the mouse very innovative and easily adjustable. However, use of the arrow keys requires some careful effort to improve.

For a beginner, it is advised to get your weapon before you go for your armor. As a newbie, it is best for you to keep on running until higher level. For that, you must always keep some healing potions with you. This keeps you alive for the next difficult levels. You must be careful when you hit someone. Beginners should keep in mind that they must not, in any circumstances, go for unprovoked attack as it may result in karma penulties. As a beginner of Lineage II, you must know all these tactics and play it safe.
