BREAKING NEWS: I was in a queue last night! Not a server queue or a scenario queue… but a Live Event non-instanced queue.

What was everyone lining up for? An epic battle? Phat lewt? Deli meat? No! We were all lined up to fight a green-con quest mob called the Shrouded One. I think he died in 5 seconds to my pet. :p

When I first got to the quest area I was a bit surprised. “Are you KIDDING ME?” I asked? “I can’t believe they’re making us line up for this!” I exclaimed with a bit of annoyance and laughter. Like a good citizen of the Inevitable City, I took up my spot in line.

It was actually kind of entertaining. There was a lot of local chat to keep us occupied and we even started a WAVE like you see at sporting events. Some jerks ignored the line and scooted through the doors when they opened, but 95% of us were quite cool about it. This is actually a bit surprising since I always assumed Destruction would be the less orderly realm.

The most hilarious part about the whole experience was the gobbo two spaces behind me. How ironic is it that Cuecue was stuck in the Queue Queue!? Surprisingly, qq’ing was kept to a minimum as we all chatted and spammed entertaining /emotes back and forth. I wonder what this was like on the non-RP servers.
