Every day I log on, and see the server populations declining. Once again I think it is time to say goodbye to at least 3-5 servers.

Mythic has been trying for months to get people to join Badlands, Gorfang, Magnus, Monolith, and etc. Just give it up. The extra renown, and xp bonus isn’t helping. It is time to realize that these servers will never make it no matter how many times you try to offer free transfers to them. This only works for about a month or two, and than the active population is right back where it started.

Even with the new patch, and LotD coming out these servers will still be dead 18 out of 24 hours a day. We need populations to double to have enough players to possibly support the server in the off hours. The new expansion isn’t going to bring many people back. At least not enough that it is going to make it feel like war is everywhere.

I say close down these servers, and have final destinations completed before the next live event happens. This way people will be helping their new server collect resources for opening day of LotD.

Another idea is to open 1 totally brand new server on the Live expansion day for anyone that may come back to the game, but doesn’t want to feel they are 6 months behind in gear. This also will give anyone who may want a fresh start to have the opportunity also.
