1. Follow the above rules. Because of your mod or admin status, you are now a role model for other users. Most of the other users will follow them as well if you follow the rules. If you break the rules, most of the other users will break them as well.
2. Be lenient. Before banning them or revoking their privileges try to warn the user that what they are doing is unacceptable. If they continue to disregard the rules, then may you ban them. Use short temporary bans unless absolutely necessary. There are always exceptions to this, of course, which brings us to.
3. Use common sense and be responsible. In the game Gauge the situation and hand and take an appropriate action. However, be prepared to back yourself up if confronted as to why you took that action. Then don’t do it if you think that you could get in trouble for doing something.
4. Be a member of the community. You would better don’t be Simon from “Simon Says.” Instead, be a member of the community and don’t flaunt your mod or admin privileges around to make other people do what you want.
