I am truly honored to call Phil “Klinderas” my friend. The last several months I have the true pleasure of getting to know Phil. (Remember Brigwyn Lee?) Well, Phil announced that he has canceled his WoW Account and turned out the lights over on his WoW related blog.
Many times we hear about people that realize it is time to cancel their account, delete the game and if necessary shred the disks. This game is known to be a time sink. But more than that, it is more than just a bit involving. You create relationships, friendships all within this virtual world. So when one decides to walk away, it really is a difficult thing because behind every avatar is a very real person.
But Phil is leaving for the best reason ever. He has a relationship he truly treasures. And now that Phil’s circumstances has changed, he knows it is time to say good-bye.
What I really appreciate and respect is Phil’s acknowledgement that his wife is the most important thing in his life and he wants her to know that. So I salute you Phil! And hope you and your lovely wife have a wonderful time enjoying life together. Many happy years to you my friend.
Luckily for us, just like Daniel “BRK” Howell created a personal blog to keep up his blogging and writting. Phil is doing the same over on Phil Meets World. Here’s to many links and enjoyable stories.
