The class breakdown has remained mostly the same. The most common class is still the STS and it probably always will be, though the daggers have had a real toure de force lately. It is possible to level(Lineage2 Gold) any of the Healer classes completely solo now with Inquisitor Stance, but as the second poster already stated, the SE has a marked advantage with Emp.
Also, the new pet system makes leveling a healer a breeze, level a wolf with you from 15 and at level(Lineage2 Adena) 55 it will out damage most damage based classes, and all you need to do is heal to suppliment it. Another advantage of the SE in this regard is VR. The Bishop is probably the most highly desired Healer in clans now, if that matters to you.
Sinse you are starting from scratch, we reccomend not playing on Phoenix. If you are an American it is still 100% playable on Teon, regardless of server latency and it has the strongest economy and the most players.
